Las Vegas Comedy Clubs
Comedy shows are some of the best entertainment in Las Vegas. Top talent from across the nation headlines at these clubs, and there is always at least one show that should catch your eye. So, if you want to have a laugh with a sitcom star, or check out some fresh up-and-comer, try this list on for size (in alphabetical order, not playing favorites).
Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club
Did you know there’s a tunnel hidden in the depths of the MGM Grand? Down there, you’ll find a Fat Tuesday, a hat shop, Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club, and a place to buy socks (if we recall). Catch the hottest names in stand-up along with regular appearances by Brad Garrett himself. If you don’t know him for his run on “Everybody Loves Raymond,” you’ll recognize him as a towering giant.
The actual club is one of the better appointed, and has a close, intimate appeal. Drinks service is spot on, and some come in their own souvenir glass.
Check the official website link for upcoming headliners.

Comedy Cellar
The Comedy Cellar might be the latest club to come to Las Vegas, but it draws from a prestigious past with 36 years of experience making people laugh. A New York institution, the Comedy Cellar is pleased to come to the Rio with their new location.
This highly rated comedy club draws from some of the same comedians you will see on HBO. Some of them are even funny.
Guests will enjoy an exact replica of the iconic New York City establishment, hearing a mix of headliners and fresh talent that will be sure to leave you laughing. Headliners have included Amy Schumer, Chris Rock, Dave Chapelle and Jon Stewart, just to name a few. The lineup changes during the week, with 5 different headliners per show. Each has a 20 minute set, so expect a pretty good mix of humor.
Guests must be 18 years-old to enter the venue, and IDs are checked upon entry.

Dirty at 12:30
Free live comedy every Friday night. Explicit language guaranteed. You probably won’t find the biggest or best here, but it will be amusing. And you can’t beat the price.
In fact, the Grandview Lounge inside South Point Hotel and Casino might be the best place to hit up repeatedly for a laugh. The headliners rotate regularly, and a lot of material is tested, keeping things fresh. No two shows are alike. Expect some dirty jokes, amazing drink specials, and, of course, free admission.
There are a number of rising comedians from around the world that start here, helped by the solid, and funny host, Gabe Lopez. Come early for great seats or find yourself standing. The pre-party starts at 10:30pm, and table reservations come with a two drink minimum.

L.A. Comedy Club
Giving laughs for over a decade, the L.A. Comedy Club of Las Vegas has grown to be a true part of the Strat, and the North Strip. Winning several awards, they have earned a solid reputation.
The L.A. Comedy Club was the first comedy club to bring breakout comics such as Aziz Anazari, Felipe Esparsa, and Loni Love to Las Vegas. So, they have much to answer for. Each week spotlights a comedy event where comedians can stretch their wings with audience pleasing material. Sometimes. Providing a unique and quality experience that’s funny and relevant, the shows are bound to please, especially with a drink or two.
The actual club is pretty basic, so it lacks a certain charm that you will find elsewhere, but that shouldn’t matter. We found most comedians to be very approachable, too. So give them a few props afterwards.

Las Vegas Live Comedy Club
This club features great lineups from New York, Chicago, Boston, L.A., and even some local talent. Headliners and featured acts will often have some name recognition, appearing on HBO, Showtime, or Comedy Central. We like how there is a different local host to kick off and emcees the show each night.
Since it is located at the Miracle Mile, and Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino, you are in a great spot. There is free parking, and plenty of restaurants and drink options to hit up before or after the show.

Laugh Factory
The Laugh Factory is a big name in comedy, and their Vegas location keeps up a proud tradition of great comedians and great jokes.
Located on the second floor of the Tropicana, the theater is quite nice, though a little big. If shows are not packed, it might seem kind of sparse. But the energy on-stage is always great.
With top tier headliners, the Laugh Factory delivers a wide range of humor, including mixes of some funny folks, or one person shows. We caught an act with Jamie Kennedy here, and it changed our entire opinion of him. He’s actually funny.
