OpenTable awards four Las Vegas restaurants

Well, the votes are in, and Las Vegas restaurants score big. Of course, locals and tourists don’t need anybody to tell us that the gourmet scene in town offers some truly special cuisine and experiences, but we can now say it is “legally” confirmed.

OpenTable has awarded Sin City four of the 100 most scenic restaurants in America for 2019.

Competing with the greatest cities in the nation, like New York, Los Angeles, and Spokane, Washington, the list has judged our best restaurants and their remarkable views. We went against the likes of Tavern on the Green, Mama’s Fish House in Paia, Hawaii, and many more. Only 24 states made it to the list, and fewer cities, so it is quite an accomplishment that Las Vegas did so well. So pat yourself on the back, I guess.

Our local winners include Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas, Giada at The Cromwell, Hell’s Kitchen at Caesars Palace, and Mon Ami Gabi also at Paris Las Vegas.

Caroline Potter, OpenTable’s Chief Dining Officer, had this to say: “We can’t think of a better way to celebrate summer travel season than with this list of restaurants with some of the nation’s most stunning vistas. Whether you’re a local or a traveler, these winning spots are a terrific way to soak up a city’s charms while dining on delicious fare.”

Of course, our own favorites differ just a little. We love the view at VooDoo Steakhouse, and if you count the nibbles and noshes at the Apex Social Club, they offer a similar experience that is out of this world. The full Las Vegas skyline reveals itself, with all the twinkle of the Strip a fair trade for the stars of the sky. It’s almost as good at the High Roller Observation Wheel, with a much better menu.
