North Las Vegas is big on their brand new campus

There is a new library and park coming to North Las Vegas. The purchase of three parcels of property for a $15 million Educational and Experimental Campus has been approved. This project is to include a new library and park.

Unanimous approval was given Wednesday for the purchase agreement of lots along Williams Avenue. Granted during a joint meeting of the City Council and Redevelopment Agency, the news was not unexpected. The land was owned by Spartan Gaming LLC who agreed to sell to the city Redevelopment Agency at a price of $320,166.

The full project is estimated for a 2023 or 2024 completion, but the library will open first quarter of 2021.
