Theme Suites

If you are looking for a way to celebrate in Las Vegas like a true highroller, the theme suites at the Palms Casino Resort are some of the best and most interesting options in town. These are not just luxury rooms, but provide an experience that can change your weekend with friends into something epic.

It isn’t always enough to have a bed and bathroom. Sometimes the party has to come back to your hotel room and last until dawn. And when it does, you want something more than couch and mini-fridge to wow your guests. Well, take it up a notch with a basketball court, or your own cinema. Or, have a blast from the past with the Real World Suite.

Even if you don’t have concrete plans, read on, and put it on your dreamboard. These are the rooms you should remember when planning that important get-together. If you want to reach for the sky, consider the Empathy Suite.

Our question would be do you play as the home team or the guests? I give basketball 5/5. Image: Palms

Hardwood Suite

This two-story suite is for the guys in town. If you’re a group, sports enthusiasts, or just want something different to make memories, then the Hardwood Suite is the right choice. It features your own private, in-room basketball court painted a black and white by Joshua Vides.

And that’s not all. This suite has luxuries, too, like a hidden whiskey room, a game room equipped with a pool and poker table, multiple large-screen televisions, a fully-equipped, 16-seat bar and a dining table for 10 guests. You honestly might not have enough friends to pack this place, but I’m sure you could pick some up along the way.

And, when the party finally dies, and you need a few hours of shut-eye, you’ll find the basketball court can double as a barracks. Murphy beds can fold out from their inconspicuous hiding spots, providing three additional full size sleeping spots. There is even a communal locker room style bathrooms, to get the group up and ready in time for a late afternoon brunch. No need to fight over the shower.

The Hardwood Suite is a great place for a party. Groups can kick back, play a few games on the court, and hit up the town. And we are sure you will find someone that might want to come back and see this baller room of yours.

Kingpin Suite

Bowling is the sport of kings. From its earliest incarnation with boccie ball, to the modern bowling alley, only the best and brightest of mankind have ever taken to the art.

Now, you can combine your passion with Las Vegas and stay in the Kingpin Suite. The expansive, 4,500-square feet of luxury has undergone some upgrades, with new and better decor. Take in some trendy art, a beautiful skyline, and the a ready bar. Oh, and the two full-size bowling lanes.

The Kingpin is complete with shoes, bowling balls and an automatic scoring system, meaning it is ready for a true high-stakes game. You’ll find the bowling alleys are on display, taking center stage in the suite. It is a lot more interesting than a regular room, providing energy, entertainment, and conversation.

The bowling lanes are surrounded by 2 bedrooms. One features two sets of double queen bunk beds for the ultimate sleepover experience. You won’t be alone here, and can fit your whole team. There are also 2.5-bathrooms and multiple lounge spaces with ample room to entertain. This is not crowded, but spacious, with a great design that allows for maximum flow and privacy.

A room with exposed ceiling joists and a card table
This captures the essence of a remodeled industrial loft. I give interior design 5/5. Image: Palms

Loft Suite

Sometimes, a room needs to be a chill place, a hang-out, somewhere to run a private card game long into the night. A guest room at any hotel won’t cut it, and you can’t just spread across a bunch of rooms. Well, the Loft Suite is the answer to your problem.

The refined Loft Suites have a masculine quality that is trendy, confident, and appealing. Almost like a hidden speakeasy, you’ll find rich browns, creams, and burgundies to match the wood floors, exposed beams, and textured brick walls. This is indulgent without being decadent, hich-class without being pretentious. It is the best of a bachelor pad, and is ready to rock.

You can even enjoy art from Retna, Faile, Henry Chalfant, Tim Conlon, Martha Cooper and Rime. Invite someone over and impress them with your taste and knowledge of the finer things.

There are two spacious lounge areas in the room, and it has a very open quality, much like a loft apartment. Each area has a large screen TV, a poker table and a fully-functional bar. This will be the perfect spot for you and your group to plot and plan, to make a few bets, and get to business when the time is right. There really isn’t a better room for groups, be it a stag party, just a fun weekend, a bachelor party, or business conference.

Plus, discretion is no extra charge.

Cinema Suite

Looking for a room with class, something sultry, decadent, and with good taste? The dark and moody Cinema Suite is the right pick. This theme suite at the Palms features a classic aesthetic with coffered wood ceilings, parquet floors, and distinctive cognac upholstered walls. It invokes the idea of the age of theaters, of a grandness that is lost to time.

But the aesthetic is only there to enhance. This room is about the Silver Screen. An in-suite cinema is the crowning jewel of this room, complete with theater seating for 8. This is the perfect spot to host guests for a private show, where you can watch home movies or the latest Netflix hits & Hollywood blockbusters. And it works well for live sporting events, improving on the bar room TV or sportsbook Jumbotron by leaps and bounds.

REVOLVE Suite

Don’t think the Palms only cares about the guys. These theme suites will help get any ladies’ night, bachelorette party, or girl’s weekend off to a great start. Brought to life by the billion dollar boutique REVOLVE, these glamorous suites welcome you with a sophisticated palette of blush rose and cream tones, enhanced with touches of marble and gold. They are quite beautiful without feeling like you walked into a princess party.

The floor to ceiling views of the Las Vegas Strip are the perfect backdrop, and balance the elegance of the suite with modern beauty. No matter your reason for coming to town, this will offer you the space to do what you need in style.

The suites are also equipped with a fully-functional bar, and multiple large-screen televisions throughout the rooms and living area. You won’t get bored here. But the key to these suites is the oversized master bathroom that has a dressing room, seating area and multiple vanities and sinks. It will be a cinch to get everyone ready with all this room. Add a bottle of champagne to make it even better.

Make Good Choices Suite

Las Vegas has a reputation. We are Sin City, and our motto is discretion. What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. But you won’t get up to anything wrong in these rooms, will you?

The Make Good Choices Suites are simplicity on the outside. The color palette encompasses rich blacks, warm grays, and crisp whites, evocative of a vintage photo. A five-fixture bathroom is the main feature, soaked in white and black marble to offer a contrast that carries throughout. The free-standing soaking tub and walk-in steam shower will offer you a spa like indulgence to do with as you please.

But the key to these rooms are the small customizations. Upon booking, you will tailor your stay with a host of amenities and services. It is up to you whether you want to be naughty or nice, go solo or bring a friend, or anything else you have in mind.

Whatever you choose, these suites will help you make the most of your time.

Real World Suite

One of the more interesting theme suites available at the Palms Casino Resort, this is a throwback to the golden age of MTV. Once home to the cast of the Real World Las Vegas, this suite is part of reality TV history. Many will recognize the iconic colors, decorations, and some will be able to imagine the most dramatic moments playing out inside these walls.

Preserved in full, you will share the bedrooms and kitchen to the communal bathroom of this 3,000-square-foot suite. It is a fun experience that captures some of the past, and can make for a few laughs. The original “Confessional” is even there for you, providing a great party game.

Great for large groups, it is as functional as it is themed. Few other suites will provide a full kitchen, but here you can cook elaborate meals, or just get up to some hi-jinx. It is a place to party, and will give you plenty of stories too real for television.
