M Pool at M Resort
The M Resort has made a name for itself catering to Las Vegas locals. Like the Studio B Buffet which is a hit with residents in the area, this luxury hotel south of the Strip offers a VIP experience without the tourist pricing.
Locals even receive free or discounted admission (Tuesday is free all day).
For those who like to party, pool admission also gets you into the DayDream Pool Club, which is a great spot to relax with friends or someone special. This is a 12,000 square foot paradise. Key features include the brilliant infinity pool, some of the nicest cabanas and daybeds in town, and a very cool bar with built-n ice rail. It is a bit more laid back than some of the other day clubs, which can be nice if wet, half-naked people and the overpowering smell of sunscreen is not to your taste. It might even be the best day club for the slightly introverted, with excellent service that doesn’t overcharge.
Family Friendly
The M Resort does not often come up as a family friendly pool, but is actually one of the better ones if you are looking for no frills relaxation. It might not offer the amenities of some of the larger resorts, but it is quiet, and might actually have a number of local families there, if you are looking for some social proof.
A big plus is the off-Strip pricing. You will be able to save a lot here to buy those kids some souvenirs and memories.
Daily, 9 am-7 pm; Monday-Thursday, $10; Friday-Sunday, $20; season passes available; 702-797-1215.
